Workshop with Terri Dans

August 15 & 16 from 10 AM – 6 PM

Location: Canadian Stage, Wardrobe Shop, 26 Berkeley St.

Behind every great costume is a cutter with a sharp eye, a steady hand, and probably a very well-loved tape measure. If you're interested in developing those skills, join legendary cutter Terri Dans for this two-day intensive workshop.

Combining instruction with hands-on practice, participants will learn the fundamentals of garment cutting by drafting a men’s pattern block for a doublet. From taking measurements to fittings, you'll gain practical experience and insight into the cutter's role in professional costume production.
