Director Matthew Jocelyn and designer Astrid Janson talk about the play THIS

A note about seating configuration and "sold out" shows

Due to the artistic design of THIS, some of the seats in the orchestra and balcony have been relocated to the front of the theatre (click here to see THIS seat map). Because of this new configuration, some of the performances that read "Sold Out" may still have a few tickets available. We have also included additional seating in the balcony that can only be sold over the phone. Please call us at 416.368.3110 for more information.

Jane’s husband died over a year ago but his ashes are still sitting on top of her fridge. Struggling to raise her young daughter alone, Jane isn’t really okay. Her friends try to cheer her up with party games and blind dates but they’re desperate for fun themselves, juggling a sleep-deprived new baby and a relationship strained to the breaking point. Their wisecracking and wine-drinking gay friend tries to help while a sexy, French Doctor-Without-Borders incites temptation – and perspective.

This witty un-romantic comedy by Canadian playwright Melissa Jane Gibson offers an honest portrait of a group of “30-something” friends navigating their way through death, parenthood, and adultery – while pointing out with wit and searing grace the absurdities of modern life. You might spot someone you recognize among these precarious adults – maybe even yourself.
