Territorial Tales
Canadian Stage 2017 Youth Engagement Project

Overview

In celebration of Shakespeare in High Park's 35th anniversary and Canada 150, Canadian Stage is proud to introduce Territorial Tales: a creative launching pad for young storytellers (ages 14-21) to share their experiences of displacement, migration and settlement.

With experiences spanning across the globe, three diverse young writers from the GTA will be given the opportunity to turn their personal stories into short theatrical works under the mentorship of Canadian Stage and three emerging theatre creators, culminating in a final staging at Shakespeare in High Park from August 3rd to September 2nd.
