Updated: 12 April, 2022
With the health, safety, and comfort of our audiences, staff, volunteers, and artists as our top priority, Canadian Stage will continue to require proof of vaccination through May 31, 2022 including all performances of Crypto and Is God Is.
While the government of Ontario is lifting the mandatory check for vaccine passports as of March 1, we are choosing to keep our policy in place until further notice. We thank you for your patience and understanding as government policies are continually changing.

Where dance meets music. Where tradition meets innovation. dance Immersion’s Legacy Tap Dance Concert celebrates Black culture born from the Harlem Renaissance, with a genre-bending intergenerational cast led by Travis Knights, Lisa La Touche, and Donny Milwalkee.
The Legacy Series is a movement. It examines the past, present and future of African Diasporic dance forms through reclamation, education, and celebration. This Concert brings together some of Canada’s most renowned tap dance artists and multi-genre musicians, with brief appearances from some special next generation tap dancers. Celebrate and honour the culture with us at the Legacy Tap Dance Concert.
dance Immersion is a charitable non-profit organization established by Vivine Scarlett in 1994 to produce, promote, and support dancers and dances of the African Diaspora.
They offer presentation, skill development, and networking opportunities for Blacks in dance, serving artists who practice contemporary and traditional movement forms from Africa, the Caribbean, North America, South America, and Europe.
With over 27 years in service, dance Immersion experiences considerable success in connecting dance artists across Canada and around the world.
