JOB TYPE: This is a temporary full-time contract position, with a work week comprised of 38 hours spread over six days, with the working hours in late afternoon, evenings, and weekends.  Monday is the day off.

Reporting to the High Park senior site management team, including Audience Services and Front of House (FOH) management, this is a position that directly assists full-time managers in the planning, supervision and operations of one of Toronto’s most beloved summer cultural events.

The Operations Assistant plays an important role in overall site operation and supervision across all audience-related operations, including assistance with crowd-management, supervision of seasonal staff and volunteers, safety, and more.  

When members of the senior site management team are away, the Operations Assistant will step into those functions, which will include a range of functions related to supervision as well as direct interaction with the public. For both the supervisory and operational tasks, the job requires superior understanding and standards of customer service, great organizational skills, and leadership potential.  The rate of pay is $26/hour with a work week comprised of 38 hours spread over six days, with the working hours in late afternoon, evenings, and weekends.  Monday is the day off.

This is a temporary full-time contract position, from June 12 – September 9.



Reports directly to the Dream Site Manager. 

Co-ordinates a team of box office/Front of house staff and volunteers at the gate and on the hill.
