ABOUT THE POSITION

The Development Coordinator provides vital support and coordination to the Development team and activities.

The successful candidate must be able to effectively manage many diverse projects. The Development Coordinator will have exposure and participation across the full range of the fundraising spectrum – including individual giving, corporate sponsorship, partnership, events, and more. The individual will collaborate with peers across the organization, including marketing, production, and finance / admin.

This is an excellent position for someone pursuing a career in the fundraising side of the non?profit cultural sector and is interested in learning and developing practical skills.

The salary for this position will be commensurate with experience and competencies. This is a permanent, full-time position with the option to work remotely for up to two to three days per week, depending on the needs and priorities of the organization. Flexibility is essential, as Canadian Stage is a theatre organization with a dynamic schedule that includes evening and occasional weekend events. The successful candidate will be expected to attend key performances, events, and activities as required to support the organization’s work and engagement with artists, audiences, and stakeholders.
