Based on the 1976 documentary film of the same name, Grey Gardens is a tragic, frequently funny, and utterly unforgettable musical about two “staunch” and legendary women: Edith Bouvier Beale, and her daughter, Edie - the infamous aunt and cousin of Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis. Set in Grey Gardens, the Bouviers’ mansion in East Hampton, New York, the musical follows the two women’s lives from rich and socially polished aristocrats to their eventual largely isolated existence in a home overrun by cats and cited for repeated health code violations. Grey Gardens is a unique tapestry of lost dreams, sacrifice, and unstoppable hope.

"Grey Gardens is more than a unique and unmissable musical. It's a gift."
