Directions to High Park

High Park is located in Toronto's west end stretching from Bloor Street west in the north to The Queensway in the south and from Parkside Drive in the east to Ellis Avenue in the west. The Canadian Stage TD Dream In High Park site is located just east of the Grenadier Restaurant, almost in the centre of the park. Parking within the park is available at the Grenadier Restaurant and at the points designated by the Ps.

Directions by Car

By expressway from the west: Take the QEW/Gardiner Expressway exit at South Kingsway Follow the Lakeshore Road west to Parkside Drive and exit north. Turn left at High Park Boulevard to enter High Park. At the first stop sign turn right and when you reach the second stop sign, you'll be at the Grenadier Restaurant.

By expressway from the east: Exit the westbound Gardiner Expressway at Dunn Avenue/Jameson Avenue and get onto Lakeshore Road. At the lights at Parkside Drive, turn right to exit north, as above.

By the local streets: One way to enter High Park is from Bloor Street, at the lights at High Park Avenue, which is west of the lights at Keele Street/Parkside Drive. Follow the one-way southbound West Road to the stop sign in front of the Grenadier Restaurant. Pass the stop sign and on the left is the entrance to the Grenadier's parking lot.

If driving, you are able to enter the park from the Bloor Street entrance seven days a week. The Parkside Drive entrance is closed on Sundays and on the Saturday of the August long weekend. Please see the note on the map entering the park from the Queensway entrance. The park is busy during the summer months so parking is limited - allow enough time to find parking and be at the venue by 5:45 p.m.

Directions by Transit

On the Bloor/Danforth subway line, get off at the High Park stop. From the main entrance, go east to get to High Park Avenue and go south to the lights at Bloor Street and High Park Avenue. Continue through the lights, keeping on the sidewalk to the left. It's about a 20 minute walk from High Park Subway station (top centre of map) to the site, so be sure to factor the time for that lovely stroll into your schedule.

You can also get to the site from the College 506 streetcar, which enters the park at the junction of Howard Park Avenue and Parkside Drive (centre right of map), or from the Queen 505 streetcar which runs along the south end of the park (bottom centre of map).
